The second season of Showtime’s The Real L Word introduced viewers to Kacy and Cori Boccumini, a lesbian couple beginning their journey of starting a family. From the season premiere to the finish Kacy and Cori’s storyline remained steadfast on the process of their having a baby. The season ended with Cori becoming inseminated. Last September the couple announced via Kacy’s blog that they were expecting. Now, Kacy has taken to her blog again to inform fans of the sad news that they lost the baby, a girl they named Charlie Monroe Boccumini, on Christmas Eve of 2011, five months into Cori’s pregnancy.
